On our way out of Charleston we had to pass by Fort Moultrie. It was great weekend to go because they were having Carolina Day. It was the anniversary of a revolutionary war victory that took place there. They had men showing the weapons and firing the weapons and they had other people there who represented other aspects of life during that time. We walked around and checked out the Fort after watching a gun and cannon demonstration! Then on our way home we drove through IOP to see what it was like. After that we made our 4 hour journey home...already talking about wanting to go back! It was a great week spent with a wonderful husband! :)
