For Father's Day, which was also our 1 year anniversary, we went to church and met mom and dad for lunch at Cracker Barrell. We all enjoyed lunch and then headed to Nickie and Dustin's to do the traditional pictures and presents. We all chipped in and got dad a guitar, well he actually picked it out, put a deposit on it, and we finished paying for it! :) That afternoon Phillip and I ate our top layer...when everyone heard how good it tasted they joined in too!

An over-nighter in Atlanta!
Phillip and I, along with Mrs. Paula and Mr. Bill, headed out with our teens for an overnighter. We enjoyed a Braves game on Thursday night, they won! Then we stayed at the Comfort Inn Suites. The next morning we enjoyed a free breakfast and headed out for Stone Mountain. Stone Mountain was pretty cool, but didn't last the whole day. So, we headed home about 4:30... However, when we got past Commerce, Ga our van started thudding and Mr. Bill had to pull off on the side of 85. Come to find out a tire had blown.. YAY! So, after two hours with no water and no air, we were rescued...the mechanic let us borrow a van and a truck to go some where for dinner while he fixed the car. We went to Pizza Hut, where the ovens were broken, and it took almost two hours to get our pizzas and eat... Needless to say we got home very late, but it was a FUN trip! :)

Memorial Day!
Almost a year after our wedding, we decided to try out our grill! We invited some friends and family over for burgers and lots of fixin's. Phillip absolutely fell in love with grilling, which is fine by me! :) We had a great time talking and playing games...
"Corn Hole" is what I've heard it's called! Mom and Camden playing :)
